The KBPC Fire Department Appreciation Labor Day Community Barbecue scheduled for September 6, 2026 has been cancelled due to weather and will be rescheduled in the spring of 2027.

Although it is impossible to be fully ready in the event of a fire, the Fire Department has been working very hard at continuing our ability to suppress and help fight fire should we be faced with it. The fire trucks located at Kilroy Bay and Pine Cove are filled with water and additional water tanks are filled at strategic locations.
